The Sharing Session Kartini 2026
PERMIKOMNAS NEWS – May 1, 2026
The Sharing Session Kartini 2026, themed “Fostering the Spirit of an Independent Kartini in the Digital Era,” organized by the National Association of Informatics and Computer Students (PERMIKOMNAS) in collaboration with the Informatics Engineering Student Association of UIN Alauddin Makassar, was successfully held and received high enthusiasm from participants across various regions of Indonesia.
The event was attended by dozens of participants from diverse backgrounds, including university students, school students, and digital communities from across the archipelago. The online format enabled broader reach, allowing the spirit of Kartini to be experienced collectively without geographical limitations.
During the presentation and discussion sessions, Mrs. Wulandari Sawitri Candra Wita, Mrs. RA. Loretta Kartikasari, SE., MM., M.I.Kom., PhD.c, and Mba Niha Nihaya, S.Kom., emphasized the importance of actualizing Kartini’s values in a contemporary context, particularly in facing the digital era. Today, the spirit of Kartini is interpreted as women’s ability to be independent in knowledge, economy, and technology. Women are no longer merely objects of digital development but must take on active roles as subjects who are innovative, competitive, and empowered.
Participants were also encouraged to understand the vast opportunities offered by the digital ecosystem, such as careers in technology, digital entrepreneurship, and building strong personal branding. At the same time, the discussion highlighted key challenges, including the importance of digital literacy, personal data security, and ethics in social media use.
The discussion was dynamic and interactive, with many participants sharing experiences and critical perspectives regarding the role of women in the digital era. This reflects the growing awareness among the younger generation of the importance of independence and courage in taking strategic roles in the digital space.
Through this activity, it is hoped that a collaborative ecosystem will emerge, encouraging the development of resilient, adaptive, and independent women in the digital era. Sharing Session Kartini 2026 was not only a forum for discussion but also a momentum to strengthen collective commitment in continuing Kartini’s spirit in ways that are more relevant to today’s challenges.
