Permikomnas RI Successfully Hosts National Webinar: AI Collaboration, Industry Opportunities, and Future Transformations
JAKARTA, November 22, 2025 – The National Association of Informatics and Computer Students of the Republic of Indonesia (PERMIKOMNAS RI) successfully held a National Webinar addressing a critical theme in today's digital era: "AI and Industry Collaboration: Opportunities, Challenges, and Future Transformation Directions."
Held virtually via Zoom Meeting on Saturday (Nov 22, 2025), the event attracted hundreds of participants, ranging from students and academics to technology practitioners from across Indonesia.
The webinar commenced with an Opening Speech by Fadli, the Chairman of Permikomnas, who emphasized the crucial need for informatics students to be prepared for the incoming wave of technological transformation. Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Achmad Benny Mutiara, Q. N. SSi, S.Kom (Chairman of APTIKOM) also delivered remarks, followed by a warm Welcome Speech from Darius Antoni, S.Kom., M.M., PhD (Permikomnas Advisor).
The core session featured expert speaker Dr. Agus Mulyana, S.Kom., M.T., a Lecturer and Tech Practitioner, who provided a deep dive into technology milestones. He specifically focused on the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT). In his presentation, Dr. Mulyana highlighted how the synergy between these two technologies creates "real-world applications" that are significantly reshaping the modern industrial landscape.
"Collaboration between AI and the industry is no longer just a concept, but an urgent necessity for efficiency and innovation," the speaker noted during the session.
Participant enthusiasm was evident during the interactive Q&A session guided by moderator Ceisar Ardi Purnomo Saputra EN. The discussion covered a wide range of topics, from career opportunities to the ethical challenges of AI implementation. The event was seamlessly hosted by Lulu as the Master of Ceremony (MC).
